Voyager III (gallery-wrapped canvas print)


A mixed media illustration of one of my favorite symbols: the compass rose.

Ever since I was young, I had a fascination with maps and the tiny compass roses that were usually found in the corners. Perhaps it was my desire to travel manifesting at an early age.

This mixed media illustration is alive with bohemian vibes and perfect for the travel lover. This decorative compass rose was inspired by a favorite book of henna patterns that is practically falling apart from all the use it has seen. Created using ink pen, some found paper, and Photoshop.

Professionally stretched and mounted on thick gallery-style 1 1/2 inch pine stretcher bars. Sides are left white, so that the image is stretched edge to edge and nothing is cut off. UV coated so that image will not fade or yellow in the sun. Hook and wire hanging system already installed on the back, so this print comes ready to hang!
