See the Way (gallery-wrapped canvas print)

A compass rose with a Vegvísir in the middle. Though I know I have seen this symbol before (Bjork has a tattoo of it that gave it a lot of exposure), I wasn't sure what it was until a good friend was telling me about his own plans to get a tattoo of one.

It's called a Vegvísir, and if often miscredited as the "Viking Compass." It actually is from the 17th century Icelandic grimoire called Galdrabók (‘magic book’). It means "guide post" in Icelandic and serves as a protection symbol. I of course put it in the middle of a compass rose, since I am obsessed with those :)

A magical illustration created with ink pen and edited in Photoshop to give it a celestial feel. This print would make a wonderful gift for a traveler, graduate, or anyone going on any kind of journey in life.
