Odessa (fine art print)

Once upon a time in 2012, after quitting my desk job to be a full-time artist, I attempted a 40 Works In 40 Days project. Being someone who has a huge amount of trouble finishing what I start, the project was never competed. So I am going to try again :) You can read about the original project HERE.

40 Works In 40 Days project - DAY 12

This listing is for a fine art print of my original mixed media collage piece from Day 12 of 40 Works In 40 Days. It is titled "Odessa."

Odessa is Latin name meaning wandering or quest. Her hair is made of atlases and maps. Maps are one of my favorite things to use in my work, so it surprised me when I started creating these bohemian girls with wild hair that I didn't think of using maps right away. Odessa would be the perfect print for a travel lover, or someone who just graduated, moved, took a new job, anyone about to embark on a journey :)

Printed on 100% acid free cotton fine art paper using Epson UltraChrome K3 inks to last a lifetime. Print includes a white border for framing purposes, so nothing is cut off. Initialed and dated on front and titled, signed, and dated on the back with pencil.
