Compass Rose Garden (gallery-wrapped canvas print)

Compass roses growing out of mountains made of paper. This is one of those ideas that I really didn't know if it would work. I had it in my head, and was surprised to see how well I was able to translate it into a physical piece of art :)

I'm a huge travel lover and wanderlust sufferer. It's the best kind of suffering. A huge amount of my work is inspired by this: my desire to wander.

This listing is for a beautiful, archival stretched canvas print of my original mixed media collage, Compass Rose Garden. The original was created by layering pages from an old geology book and an even older book about the earth, then adding acrylic and watercolor painting and illustration. Compass roses have always been a fascination of mine, so I wanted to create a little garden of them :)

You can find paper prints of Compass Rose Garden here:

Professionally stretched and mounted on thick gallery-style 1 1/2 inch pine stretcher bars. Sides are left white, so that the image is stretched edge to edge and nothing is cut off. UV coated so that image will not fade or yellow in the sun. Hook and wire hanging system already installed on the back, so this print comes ready to hang!
